Telephone Exercises
In these exercises you have a sheet with a conversation between two people which you look up to find the correct response as your partner or teacher says randomly the sayings of one of the people.

Pair Work
In these exercises you and your partner have a sheet each on which there is half the information. You need to ask your partner for the information you are missing and he needs to ask for for the information he is missing. Because you won't know some of the words you will need to spell some of them out.

Comprehension
In these exercises you have a sheet with information such as telephone numbers which you look up to find the answer as your partner or teacher asks you questions about it.

Plays, Books and Nursery Rhymes
How I use the Plays.
 I give out the Character Place Names and as there are nine characters less than this number of students means some people get two or more names and more than this number means some students share names.
The students read the text as I help with words they don't know. If necessary, I read a sentence for them to then repeat it.

How I use the Nursery Rhymes.
 I say a line or portion of a line and get them to repeat it.
They read a poem separately or together.

How I use the Books.
 I say a line or portion of a line and get them to repeat it.
I get them to read a line or lines.

Vocabulary
How I use these exercises.
 I give them the sheet with Words List 1 and Words List 2 and they copy the words from it. They can see the meaning as they do so.
As they write the words I go around checking their writing and saying each sentence for them to repeat.
