General introduction

Exercises 010 to 050 use the MP3 files of Maxwell speaking and are designed for individual use. These are also available on a CD if your computer connection is too slow.
Exercises 060 are for two or more people, are not on the CD, and are for telephone learning or class use.

About 030 EPWS41-48 Cloze Exercises

Listen to Maxwell speaking and fill in the missing words as you hear them.

These exercises go with the MP3 files of Maxwell speaking and have blank spaces in them (cloze exercises) that you fill in as you hear the missing words. There are also some multiple choice questions using the MP3 files that you will find more difficult than the Cloze exercises. The easiest of these exercises are the ones including a "C" in the name as they have fewer missing words. 

You have the answers and the complete set of words in the transcript so that you can also just listen to the words and read them.
